RULES


12U

1. Each game will have player of game, selected by opposing coach.
2. Roster may not exceed 15 players
3. No infield practice on field game is being played on, warm-up in outfield, no soft toss against fences.
4. If a team cannot field 8 players at beginning of game, game will be forfeited with score of 6 to 0. Please have players ready to play 15 minutes prior to start time.
5. Pool Play, TH-Sat, no new inning can start after 90 minutes, The inning begins after the last out is made of previous inning. Plate umpire will keep time, home team will not bat if they are winning in bottom of inning if in an unlimited inning or bottom of the 6th.
6. Sunday- no time limit in elimination games, 6 innings or slaughter.
7. 5-run rule per inning, unless 6th inning or last inning declared or extra innings.
8. Mercy Rule
  15 runs after 3 innings
  12 runs after 4 innings
    8 runs after 6 innings
9. To seed for Sunday single elimination brackets
   1-Teams ranked by winning percentage
   2- Head to Head
   3-Fewest Runs allowed
   4-Most Runs scored
   5-Coin toss
10. During Pool Play the team listed first will take first base dugout, home/away will be determined by coin toss by umpire at home plate prior to game.. I n elimination round higher seed will take first base dugout and be home team.
11. International tie-breaker will be used in extra innings in elimination games. Under this rule each team, each team starts the inning with player who completed last official at bat on second base as runner, Each subsequent inning will start the same way until a winner is declared.
12. Players must slide or avoid contact on any close plays. All sliding rules are at discretion of umpires.
13. Courtesy runner may be used for catcher or pitcher, runner is player who made last out.

 

10U

1. 11 inch yellow, raised stich balls, provided by host.
2. ft. pitching distance.
3. Infield fly rule is in effect.
4. Stealing is allowed on release of pitch to second and third base.
5. Runner leaving early will be called out.
6. 6 inning games.
7. Pitcher must be removed after hitting 4 batters in game or 3 in one inning.
8. 10 fielders, 4 outfielders must start on grass but can move forward on release of pitch.
9. NO, show bunt, pull back and swing. First offense is an out, second offense is ejection from tournament.
10. Free substitutions for all fielders.
11. No pitcher can throw more than 8 innings in one calendar day; managers will go above concessions stand and report innings pitched per player per game to member of Monti committee. One pitch equals one inning, anyone who goes above the 8-inning rule will have game forfeited.
12. Continuous batting order will be used, if late arriving player, they go to bottom of order.
13. If batter leaves hurt or ill, no out will be called, if batter leaves for any other reason that spot in order will be an out each time it comes up.
14. We encourage cheering, singing, and having fun, but there is no direct singing, cheering, etc. at one particular opposing player.
15. All coaches not coaching 1st or 3rd base, while game is being played must be inside gates. First offense is warning, second offense is ejection.


8U

1. 11 inch yellow, squishy balls, provided by host.
2. 32ft. pitching distance.
3. Pitcher pitches until 2 walks or hits batsmen, once pitcher removed coach will pitch remainder of inning from mound, pitcher will stay on field and field position.
4. No bunting.
5. Runner leaving early will be called out.
6. 5 inning games.
7. If ball is batted and touches the outfield grass, batter may take second base, runners may advance one more base. No extra bases on overthrows.
8. 10 fielders, 4 outfielders must start on grass but can move forward on release of pitch.
9.  7 fielders min, teams must have catcher.
10. Free substitutions for all fielders.

17. 4 runs per inning max, last inning 5th or declared last inning is unlimited.
18. No new inning after 75 minutes in pool play, Sunday elimination play has no time-limit.
19. If ball goes over fence in air by batter it is a home run.
