Sun 7/30 (Elimination Games)

10:00am - Field 5 - #1 seed vs #4 seed

RULES

1. Each game will have player of game, game ball and cube will be selected by opposing coach.

2. Rosters may not exceed 15 players

3. No infield practice on any of the playing fields, warm up in outfield only. No soft-toss against fences.

4. If team cannot field 8 players by beginning of game, it will be forfeited with final score of 6 to 0. Please be ready 15 minutes before scheduled start time of game.

5. Friday& Saturday(pool play)- No new inning can start after 1 hour 30 minutes. The inning begins after the last out of the previous inning. The umpire will keep game time. The HOME team will not bat in the bottom half of the last inning if they are winning.

6. Sunday- No time limit in any elimination game

7. Six(6) run maximum per inning, no limit in 6th inning(or last declared inning) or extra innings

8. Mercy Rule- A game will be complete if team is ahead by the following runs
15 runs after 3 innings
12 runs after 4 innings
8 runs after 5 innings

9. To seed single elimination brackets the following will be used
1. Rank teams by winning percentage
2. Head to Head 
3. Fewest runs allowed
4. Most runs scored
5. Coin toss

10. During pool play team listed first will take 1st base dugout, coin flip by umpire before game will determine who is home/away, in elimination round highest seed will be home team and take the first base dugout.

11. International Tie Breaker, will be used for extra-inning games in elimination round. Under this rule, each team starts the inning with player who completed the last official bat, as base runner on second base. Each subsequent inning will start same until winner has been determined.

12. Players must slide or avoid contact on any close plays. All sliding rules are at the discretion of the Umpire.

13. Courtesy runners may be used for pitcher or catcher, runner will be the last made out.


PLAYING RULES

1. 12-inch,yellow, raised stitch game balls will be used

2. 40 ft pitching distance

3. Dropped 3rd strike is in effect

4. Infield fly rule is in effect

5. Stealing allowed on release of pitch to all bases

6. Runner leaving early will be called out

7. Continuation on walk is allowed

8. 6 inning games

9. Pitcher must be removed after hitting 4 batters in game or 3 in one inning.

10. 9 fielders, three must be in outfield, outfield can move in on release of the pitch.

11. NO " show bunt, pull back and swing". First offense batter is out, second offense batter is ejected from tournament.

12. Free substitution for all fielders

13. No pitcher can throw more than 9 innings in one calendar day, at conclusion of game manager will fill out innings tracker and bring to tournament director.

14. Continuous batting order will be used, if player arrives late, player will go to bottom of batting order.

15. If player is injured or ill during game no out will be called for her batting position. If player leaves for another reason, an out will be called each time spot comes up in order.

16. We encourage cheering, singing and having fun. However, no direct singing, chanting, etc at a particular opposing player.

17. All coaches not coaching first or third base must be inside gate, if on field 1st offense warning, second offense ejected from the game.
