The Raynham Summer All-Stars is a competitive travel team that will start weekly practices soon after the team is picked. This is a competitive program where scores and standings are kept. The program is for ages 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 year olds.
Tryouts will be conducted for All Star-teams in which players are assessed by a group independent evaluators. Players must register for tryouts during the registration window. Upon completion of tryouts, teams will be determined through collective input from tryout evaluators, team manager and select board members.
There is NOT even playing time on the summer All-Star teams. Playing time is determined by the manager. There is no minimum play time as we have in RYBSA's Spring season. Players will typically have 1-2 set positions. Commitment to the team and the summer program should be prioritized by all players and parents.
All Star teams for all ages will participate in the Hockomock Summer League. This will include 12 games, played primarily on weekdays and will include playoffs if your team qualifies. Each team will also participate in 2 weekend tournaments as well as the Cal Ripken District Tournament with the chance to advance to the State and Regional Tournaments.
