2023 17th Annual SFC Jared C. Monti Memorial, July 27th – July 30th. 


8U Baseball Tournament 


Raynham Youth Baseball and Softball Association is happy to announce that our 17th Annual SFC Jared C. Monti Memorial Baseball Tournament will be held for the 8U age group from July 27th – July 30th.  This year's tournament will be different than years' past, as this year will be invitation only. 

Jared, a Raynham resident, was killed in action in the mountains of Afghanistan in June 2006 while attempting to rescue a wounded comrade that had become separated from the unit. Jared was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor, only the 6th person from the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq to receive the award.

As in years past, this year’s tournament will be about more than just a few baseball games:
• Parade of teams marching in along with a dedication to a soldier of their choice / from their community.
• 8U Skills tournament (homerun derby and other fun skills challenges)
• Game balls awarded at the end of each game.
• Awesome trophies for every player of the winner and runner up
• Action photos taken of every player on every team and available throughout the tournament.
• Convenient game scheduling with every team playing at least 3 games.
